Neil Newlun

A native of Spokane, Neil comes to our chapter as a recruit from the ‘Young Men in Harmony’ program where chorus members toured the local High Schools promoting barbershop Harmony.  Neil graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor’s in Communication and a Minor in Music Education.  During his time at WSU, he spent 4 years as an Alumni Ambassador in an elite show-choir called “The Crimson Company” that performed more than a 100 shows around the Pacific Northwest.  He joined the Pages of Harmony chorus in 1998 directly after college and has competed in several competition quartets and served in multiple positions including VP of Music and Performance, Choreographer, and Associate Director, as well as becoming ‘Certified Director’ in the society in 2003.  Neil works as a Computer Server Engineer at a local Health Insurance Company while he and his wife DeAnne are ecstatic parents enjoying life with their daughter Grace.
