In 1955 the chorus went to Lewiston, Idaho to put on a show. At the time the chorus put 25 men on stage. Of those 25 men 20 of them were in quartets.
The last high point for the chorus was in 1965 when they earned the right to attend the International Contest in Boston. The chorus was surprised and excited to place 10th among a group of larger choruses.
The 1965 Evergreen district championship quartet The Ambassadorswerealso from Spokane and did very well in the quartet contest. Our own Al "Doc" Parker was the baritone of that quartet. The chorus went again in 1971 to New Orleans and finished 15th.
